Disclosure of information
Straitside Marine Solutions Ltd. does not sell or rent personal information.
Information may be accessible to service providers required to operate the website, contact form, and business email. When additional expertise is needed for requested marine work, relevant information may be provided to a specialist involved in that work, but only to the extent reasonably necessary to assess, arrange, or perform the requested service.
We may also disclose information where the law requires or permits us to do so.
Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate legal, tax, insurance, warranty, safety, and business-record purposes.
Enquiries that do not result in work will generally be retained for no longer than two years after the last communication. Client, service, project, contract, financial, and related subcontractor records will generally be retained for seven years after the end of the fiscal year in which the final transaction occurred.
Records connected with an unresolved warranty matter, insurance claim, tax review, complaint, dispute, or legal proceeding may be retained until the matter and any applicable retention requirements have ended. Certain technical or safety-related service records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary.
When personal information is no longer required for a legal or business purpose, it will be securely deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no website, email system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
